We can help with the following:
- Crisis Intervention/Group Trauma Reprocessing (G-TEP)
- Workshops
Many of the clients we work with have encountered trauma in their workplace. When an employee experiences stress or trauma in their work, it can result in long-lasting consequences, affecting not just the individual but also their coworkers and the overall work environment.
At Gentle Pathways, we understand the impact that stress and trauma can have on workers and entire teams. We work with organizations and workplaces to prevent and reduce the impact of trauma on employees and entire organizations. We partner with employers facing adverse events, offering expertise in early interventions following adverse or traumatic incidents.
Our primary goal is to assist organizations in restoring a sense of safety and overall well-being among their staff while alleviating trauma response symptoms.
Organizations can face a variety of critical events that may cause trauma for their employees. Some examples include:
- Workplace Accidents
- Acts of Violence
- Medical Emergencies
- Organizational Changes
- Workplace Harassment or Discrimination
In all of these cases, employees can experience trauma in various forms, including emotional distress, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and a range of physical and psychological symptoms. When employees are provided with early intervention the risk of developing these symptoms decreases giving employees the tools to cope with these traumatic experiences and facilitate their recovery.
